Grey area

Many things have a grey area. A controversial area that one side pushes one way and the other side pushes the other way. Lets look at slavery. It's obvious to our society today that capturing the Africans, bringing them thousands of miles from home and forcing generations of them to go into slave labor is wrong, but slavery isn't all bad to our well thought society. We have people in prison today that do labor for pennies a day, and are they not slaves? They work against their will for nothing. Or virtually nothing. Nevertheless, I'd describe that as slave labor and it's okay. I'm not against that, I'm just saying that somewhere between kidnapping blacks and forcing rapists to do work is ok. Where's the grey area? What's wrong or right? Why?

What's the point?

Well, that about sums it up. You play a video game and you want a goal, right? something you're trying to achieve, or it just tortures you. Reality is much the same, accept people make their own goals. Is there an ultimate goal? What are your goals, and why? what do you do when you win your little game? These are all interesting questions. Let's discus them.

What is this blog about?

Here I will communicate with a biased public on philosophical questions like the existence of  god, the meaning of life or other touchy subjects like abortion. This is not a place for petty arguments, trying to prove each other wrong or being right for the sake of being right. It is a place where we will talk about these things and come out learning more. Don't come into this assuming you're right. In our universe, there are few absolutes, and your opinion probably isn't one of them. Post what you think we should first discus in the comments. If you've come that far than I should thank you for your open mindedness, and remember, this is all friendly.
